Booking options

Please use our online booking dialogue to book your journey with us at no charge. You can directly choose and book most of our offers and package tours online.

In case you are a returning TT-Line customer you will be asked to login with your e-mail address and password in step 5 within the booking dialogue. Thus, your address will be added automatically to the booking.

Note that you can only choose up to one vehicle for each booking. Exceptions are only made for motor bikes and bicycles.

If you would like any booking advice you can call our booking hotline at +49 (0) 4502 801-81. Note that a service fee of  € 14/140 SEK will be charged when using this service.

You can choose between different ticket options in order to find the right rate just for you. Please note the different booking conditions.

 

Booking and re-booking information

We recommend to book early if you want to travel at a specific date. Of course you are always welcome to book on short notice as well!

When booking, you may need to enter the length of your vehicle and trailer, the registration number of your vehicle and trailer, the first and last name of all passengers, the nationality, the birth date, address, phone number as well as your travel route, travel dates and times. If you would like to change anything in an existing booking, please call our booking hotline or use our online service “My TT-Line” for re-bookings and cancellations.

Any luggage which you can carry by yourself is already included in the travel fare.

As a registered customer, you can easily make changes, amendments or cancellations of your trip via your “My TT-Line" account. You only need your e-mail address and password. 

Even as a non-registered customer you have the option to make changes, amendments or cancellations of your trip without registration on “My TT-Line". You will only need your booking number and e-mail address.

In case you are not a returning TT-Line customer, you may sign up in step 5 of the booking dialogue while booking - or register here for "My TT-Line". This way your address data can be used for your bookings.

Do you want to change your password? Please log in at "My TT-Line" in order to change your password in the section "My profile".

You do not want to register at TT-Line? You can easily change your bookings by logging in to “My TT-Line" with your e-mail address and booking number without registration.

Student discount

We offer a 50% discount for students/trainees travelling without any vehicle. Please have a student ID or other proof ready at the check-in.

FLEX TICKET

By booking a FLEX TICKET you have more flexibility, especially when re-booking your journey.

The ticket can be re-booked without any service fee and can be cancelled according to our terms and conditions. Please note that any re-booking will be made with the current price which is updated daily.

Please observe that an additional handling fee of 8 EUR will be charged for all manual booking alteration made by one of our TT-Line employees.

SMART TICKET

When choosing a SMART TICKET your ticket is only valid for a specific journey. If you want to re-book your ticket a re-booking fee of € 40/400 SEK will be charged. If you would like to cancel your journey, the ticket will not be refunded.

Please observe that an additional handling fee of 8 EUR will be charged for all manual booking alteration made by one of our TT-Line employees.

All these offers are customized with special terms and conditions and are only valid for the time period shown. They are only valid with regards to the special terms and conditions and cannot be changed.

When booking a return rate (“Return Rebate” or “Return Hit”) the round trip as a whole has to be available. No discounts are made for partially bookable journeys. Any re-booking to a SMART TICKET or a FLEX TICKET will be charged with a re-booking fee of € 40/400 SEK. These types of ticket are non-refundable regardless of the time of cancellation and are only valid for the chosen departure.

Pets

As an EU national, you can freely travel with your cat, dog or other pet if it has a European pet passport. Of course you can bring your pets onboard whether travelling to Sweden, Germany or Poland. When booking you will have to specify what/how many pets you are carrying. The pet owner is responsible to check the national rules and regulations.

There are a limited number of special cabins for passengers travelling with pets available. On all night departures where a cabin reservation is required, pets may only stay in our designated pet cabins (max. 2 pets per cabin). If these cabins are already fully booked, TT-Line has the right to sell a standard cabin. In these cases an extra cleaning fee of € 15/150 SEK is charged.

Due to safety reasons the car deck will be closed during the crossing and no pets are allowed to stay in the vehicle on the car deck. You may walk your dog on the passenger decks inside and outside. However, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, the bar or the bordshop. A dog toilet is located on the rear ends of the outside decks. More information can be found here.

Bicycle and motorbike

Per online booking you can book 2 motorbikes with 2 passengers each or 5 bicycles with 1 passenger each.  

Motorbikes are fastened during the crossing. If necessary, please ask our staff onboard for any safety belts. For safety reasons, the car decks will be closed during the crossing.

Bikes which are mounted to your car, i.e. on a bike rack, do not have to be booked separately.

Cars

Cars are classified as vehicles with up to 6 meters total length, 4 meters height and 2.55 meters width. If your vehicle is longer than 6 meters, you will need to book the category “mini-van” and enter the correct length. Please note that bike racks etc. are to be included within the total length. You may not exceed the entered dimensions. (Please be notified that if you travel with a trailer with another vehicle on it, an additional surcharge may apply on Świnoujście-Trelleborg route)

Only one car may be chosen and added to your booking. If you travel with more than one car, please make separate bookings for each car.

Additionally, you may carry maximum 60 litres of fuel in jerry cans.

Before leaving your car, please make sure to put on the hand brake.

Mini-van

A vehicle that exceeds a total length of 6 meters is classified as a mini-van. Each started meter over this allowance will be charged. Please enter the total length of your vehicle including bike racks etc. in centimeter when booking.

The vehicle may not exceed a total height of 4 meters or a width of 2.55 meters.

Mobile-home

When booking a mobile home please enter the total length including any bike racks. The total width of your vehicle may not exceed 2.55 meters.

The main switch for the gas supply for your mobile home must be closed during the whole crossing. Please make sure that the gas container is freely accessible and removable in case of fire. The usage of gas-powered refrigerators is not allowed. Security information for camper for download (pdf).

Additionally, you may carry maximum 60 liters of fuel in jerry cans.

Due to safety reasons the car deck is closed during the crossing.

Trailers

Generally, the total length of trailers is charged per started meter including drawbar and bike racks etc. The vehicle with trailer may not exceed 17 meters in order to be processed with a passenger ticket option. If the maximum length of 17 meters is exceeded there are only ticket options for freight available.

When paying with American Express you will be charged a transaction fee of 2% of the purchase price. All other provided payment options are free of charge.

Payments with credit cards are processed with Ingenico and are secured via a personal secure code.

Rebooking

Please observe that a rebooking fee may apply if you want to change the departure date, the departure time or the departure port of your booking. This fee may vary depending on the ticket type: For SMART TICKETS, return rebates and return hits a rebooking fee of € 40/400 SEK will be charged, for package travels the rebooking fee is € 15/150 SEK. FLEX TICKETS and standard tickets (available for pedestrians) and motorbike tickets can be rebooked free of charge. Please note that any rebooking will be made with the current ticket price which is updated daily.

Most of our ticket types and tariffs can be rebooked and changed online at "My TT-Line". Of course, you can even add and change cabins or meals.

Cancellation/No-Show fee

Do you want to cancel your booking?
Your booking can be cancelled online. Just login at "My TT-Line" and choose the departure you would like to cancel.

You do not have an account for “My TT-Line”? No worries: Go to “My TT-Line”, select the register “Without registration” and enter your e-mail address and booking number for cancelling this booking.

Please observe that a handling fee of 8 EUR will be charged for all manual booking alteration made by one of our TT-Line employees.

If you should receive a credit note due to the online cancellation, a form for refund will be opened automatically. Please fill in your bank data carefully.

We kindly ask you to observe that a cancellation fee may be charged depending on the ticket type and point of cancellation - even for FLEX TICKETS. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.

If you want to cancel any other tickets, or in case of  no-show, the tickets are non-refundable. Thus, the cancellation fee is 100% of the ticket price

Groups and busses

Groups with their own bus will be supported by our group booking department. If you are a group and you would like to book your journey with several cars/caravans our passenger department is responsible for you. For more information please click here: Bus tour operators.
