Online booking

The easiest way to make your booking free of charge is to use our online booking dialog. Here you can book all our crossings and most of our vacations directly. Package tours can be booked via a booking form belonging to the offer and will then be finally booked by our booking staff.

For personal advice and bookings, please call us on +49 (0)4502 801-81. For a booking fee of 16 € you can have your booking done by our booking staff.

However, it is much quicker and easier to book via our online booking dialog. You will also save the following fees:

A fuel and environmental surcharge is levied per person for ferry crossings. This surcharge is intended to cover additional fuel-related costs as well as expenses associated with compliance with international environmental standards.

These standards are set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a specialized agency of the United Nations that regulates global shipping. A central component of these regulations is MARPOL (International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships), which establishes limits on emissions and pollution from ships. The goal is to reduce environmental impact, improve fuel efficiency, and ensure cleaner maritime transport. Compliance with these requirements often necessitates the use of low-emission fuels and new technologies, which can lead to higher operating costs.

In addition, an ETS fee (European Emissions Trading System) is charged per person and per vehicle. This system is part of the European Union’s measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by imposing costs on CO2 emissions in the shipping sector. Further information can be found here.

Due to the current geopolitical situation and its impact on global fuel markets, TT-Line has had to adjust its fuel surcharge accordingly. These adjustments apply to all new bookings made on or after March 27, 2026. We continue to closely monitor cost developments and will adjust the surcharge accordingly.

There is no fuel surcharge and no ETS fee for children up to the age of 6.

Electronic direct debit (ELV) is possible up to 14 days before departure.

Credit card payments are processed by Payone and are secured by means of a personal secure code procedure.

My TT-Line allows you to easily change, modify or cancel your trip online. All you need is your email address and password.

Flexibility add-on
Be on the safe side and book our TT-Line Flexibility add-on together with your crossing. You can rebook and cancel your trip up to 24 hours before departure free of charge. Our Flexibility add-on can be added to all our tariffs and routes (only addable to newbookings).

- full refund of the ticket price (except of the costs for the Flexibility add-on)

Check-In Process

Check-in times are listed on your booking confirmation and on our check-in page.

The vehicle must be checked in and ready for loading by the specified time. Please note that there may be a wait at the self check-in. Late arrivals are not eligible for transportation, even if you have pre-booked. Unless your booking confirmation specifies a different check-in time, you must check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Please note that the same check-in times apply if you have already checked in online.

For group travel with or without bus, check-in is always at least 60 minutes prior to departure.
