Mehr wöchentliche Abfahrten zwischen Trelleborg und Klaipėda - Neuer, moderner Fährterminal in Klaipėda exklusiv für TT-Line - Schnellere Anbindung an das Straßennetz in Litauen Die im Juni 2018 eröffnete TT-Line Verbindung zwischen der litauischen Hafenstadt Klaipėda und dem schwedischen TT-Line Knotenpunkt Trelleborg wird ausgebaut.
Ab Ende Januar 2020 wird die Frequenz zwischen Trelleborg und Klaipėda auf bis zu fünf Abfahrten wöchentlich erhöht. Gleichzeitig gibt es die Möglichkeit, über Trelleborg die Verbindungen von und nach Travemünde und Rostock zu nutzen. Zusätzlich wird in Klaipėda ein neuer Fährterminal angefahren, der speziell auf die Anforderungen der TT-Line Flotte abgestimmt sein wird. Unter anderem bezieht TT-Line in diesem Terminal ein brandneues Abfertigungsgebäude für seine Kunden. Er bietet die bestmöglichen Verbindungen ins Straßennetz von Litauen sowie ins gesamte Baltikum. Dies erspart insbesondere dem Frachtverkehr die Fahrt durch Klaipėdas Stadtzentrum und erfüllt damit ein weiteres Ziel in TT-Lines umweltfreundlicher Unternehmenspolitik.

Faster access to the Lithuanian road network
TT-Line’s swimming bridge between the port of Klaipėda and the Swedish transport hub of Trelleborg – opened in June 2018 – is being expanded. From the end of January 2020, the frequency between Trelleborg and Klaipėda will be increased to up to five departures per week. There is also the possibility of using the connections to and from the German Baltic ports Travemünde and Rostock via Trelleborg.
TT-Line will move its main operation to the brand new and modern TT-Line terminal, which is presently prepared exactly to the company’s needs and to all TT-Line’s ship types. In addition, TT-Line offers a new Check-In for its customers in this terminal building which is excellently connected to the main road system and secures that car passengers and trucks do not have to enter the central city of Klaipėda. With this move TT-Line will also realize a further step in the company’s Green Ship Policy
