Penalty for loading units with hazardous goods
Hazardous goods units shall be picked up at the DUSS terminals on the day of arrival, but in any event no later than during the opening hours of the following business day. If loading units are not picked up during this period, a penalty will be charged. The following scale of charges will apply in this instance (per loading unit and calendar day):
| On first day subject to charge |
23,00€/day |
| On second day subject to charge |
73,00€/day |
| From third day subject to charge |
136,00€/day |
-
The calculation of the parking fees is based on calendar days.
-
The obligation to pay for intermediate storage until further transport in accordance with the table of storage charges occurs continuously and adds up over the period of use.
-
If the charge-free time slots fall on or include public holidays, the charge-free time slot is extended by 24 hours for each public holiday.
-
The parking of loading units is generally subject to the corresponding availability of space.
-
The prices are net prices and are calculated plus the statutory value added tax and a handling fee (3.75 percent).
-
Additional provisions on temporary stay in the terminal apply to loading units with dangerous goods (this information can be found in our price rules).
-
Load units with a height of less than 8 feet (2.435 mm) are each considered a load unit by themselves, even if they should be stacked. Stackable flatracks are only considered a load unit if they are folded and firmly connected to each other and do not exceed the total height of 2.435 mm (8 feet).
