Checklist for trailer delivery

1. Principles

All prices are in euros and are subject to statutory VAT and a handling fee (3.75 percent).

The terms and conditions of Kombiverkehr as amended from time to time apply.

The stowage of loading units (LE) is generally subject to space availability.

Additional provisions apply to LE with hazardous goods regarding the temporary stay in the transshipment stations.

Complaints regarding the stowage period can only be processed if a copy of a pick-up receipt (e.g. pick-up slip from the Kombiverkehr agency), which has been counter-confirmed at the time of pick-up, is enclosed with the complaint.

There will be no receipt messages for LE. If deviations from the scheduled arrival occur, customers will be informed by Kombiverkehr's transport monitoring and / or the UIRR partners.

Status information in the CESAR information system is provided without guarantee.

2. Calculation start / end

The calculation of the bonus or malus amounts starts with the actual provision of the loading units in the terminal. Time recording ends when the loading units are craned onto the outgoing vehicle in the terminal. The collectors receive a collection slip as proof. Complaints can only be processed if the pick-up slip is presented.

3. Bonus / charge-free period

The BONUS period is divided into 2 sections. The first section relates to SUs that are collected within 6 hours of provision. Section 2 relates to SUs that are collected within 6–24 hours after provision. The BONUS will only be paid if the loading unit leaves the transshipment station by road after a rail entry within the specified periods. The free-of-charge period is determined accordingly.

4. Malus

The MALUS period is also divided (see price table) and starts after the end of the BONUS period. The calculation is based on the effective parking time, including Sundays and holidays, and is not interrupted by the closing of the terminal. The amounts stated in the section "> 96 hrs." apply per additional 24 hours. Depending on the actual parking time, the amounts stated in the price table are to be added up. The MALUS will be calculated according to the stated periods, regardless of the type of delivery of the LE.

5. Price-determining date of performance

The price-determining date of performance is the date of delivery in the case of deliveries in dispatch and the date of collection in the case of deliveries in receipt.
