• Crewing Manager - Poland

   

  TT-Line is one of the leading ferry companies in the Baltic Sea, using modern ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden. TT-Line carries over 1,000,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units annually on its 4 routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. TT-Line currently employs around 900 people on board and in the land offices in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście/Szczecin and Klaipėda.

   

  To support our HR team, we are looking at our location in Świnoujście as soon as possible for a:

   

   Crewing Manager – Poland   (m/f/d)

   

  The perfect candidate should have a strong background in HR within the maritime industry and a deep understanding of crewing processes. The role entails crewing matters for the owners' vessels operating under the Cyprus flag in the Baltic.

  The area of responsibility includes:

   

  ·         Management and support of the recruitment process for international maritime personnel

  ·         Provide guidance, support crewing operations in scheduling and planning crew changes and follow up with the relevant parties (liaise with crewing agencies and vessel managers etc) to ensure operational requirements, availability, budget, and regulations are met

  ·         Ensure good rotation planning and ensure timely and cost-effective repatriation of crew for the smooth operations of the vessels

  ·         Support to crew members on payroll, benefits, career development, and grievance resolution etc.

  ·         Ensure adequate trade union cover for the assigned fleet

  ·         Implementation of recruiting measures and sourcing in social networks and on specialized platforms

  ·         Maintaining the company’s career page and preparing advertisement

  ·                    

  ·         Processing payroll-related topics

  ·         Monitor crew appraisals and processing of administrative HR tasks

  ·         Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve the overall operating efficiency of the vessels

   

  We expect:

   

  ·         Experience: at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar senior role in the crewing operations within the maritime industry

  ·         Knowledge of vessel management, HR, and the maritime industry

  ·         Detailed understanding and knowledge of laws applicable to the industry, regulations, conventions, policies, and standards regarding crewing operations (collective agreements, MLC, STCW, ISM desirable)

  ·         Very good written and spoken English, Polish (company language: English)

  ·         Independent, structured, proactive, well-organized, and solution-oriented way of working

  ·         Ability to work in a team and a high level of commitment and confidentiality

  ·         Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and other software relevant to crew management.
