The port of Klaipėda is the most eastern-located destination in the TT-Line route network, which has been connecting the southern Swedish port of Trelleborg several times a week since June 2018. You can travel directly from Travemünde/Rostock via Trelleborg to Klaipėda and discover the Baltic States. You can then return via Trelleborg to Travemünde/Rostock.
Klaipėda is considered to be the most important Baltic Sea port in the Baltic States because it is ice-free nearly all year round. The Baltic region with its three newer EU states Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia has been developing from an insider tip to a popular holiday region in Northern Europe for some time now. The capital cities Vilnius (Lithuania) and Riga (Latvia) can be reached in just under two hours by car from Klaipėda. The Baltic beaches - for example the Curonian Spit, which starts directly in Klaipėda - are fine sandy and miles long. Like the Scandinavians, the population is considered family-friendly and relaxed. However, the holiday budget in the Baltic States is by no means as strained as in the northern neighbouring countries.
The port of Trelleborg is an important hub in the TT-Line route network and the traffic junction for all ferries to Sweden. As Sweden's most important ferry port, all ships in the TT-Line fleet have called at Trelleborg since the company was founded in 1962. This southern Swedish port is considered the gateway of Scandinavia to the European continent. Travellers from Sweden and neighbouring countries like to use the transshipment port because of its high departure frequency.
Relax on board during the crossing to or from Klaipeda which takes about 16.5 hours. Rest in your cabin, go shopping in the SEA & SAVE bordshop.
The Self Check-In in Trelleborg offers all TT-Line travellers an easy printout of boarding cards and cabin keys at the vending machine. Customers with vehicles use the signposted lanes to the TT-Line terminals to confirm customer data and obtain all necessary documents conveniently from their cars. Passengers without vehicles use the vending machines on the ground floor of the port office building. The shuttle bus will then take you from the entrance area of the port building to the ship approx. 30 minutes before departure.
The latest check-in on this route must be 60 minutes before departure.
